Just returned from two week trip to Ireland, ending with a stay at Clochard. It is well-run with good breakfasts and a comfortable room. Our hosts Helena and Pat were very friendly. An additional convenience was that Helena booked us onto several tours so that we did not have to figure out the arrangements ourselves.
we had very nice days in clochard B&B Very friendly, perfect breakfast, very good communication
A disaster: There was no room available when we arrived; the owner said she had no knowledge of a booking, She helped us find alternative accommodation,
We are only 10 minutes walk from High Street, Quay Street, now famous for its fine Restaurants and Irish Pubs with traditional music. This area of Galway City is now known as the Latin Quarter of the City. Also just 10 minutes to National University of Ireland Galway and and University College Hospital.
